The Logic Studio Team Invades NY!

You had to be there! We had over 140 attendees at the Apple Store in Soho to come check out Bob Hunt, Scott Wilkie, and Alec Liittle, from Apple’s Logic team. These folks gave a great overview of Logic 8 and Main Stage, with help from Apple’s Xander Soren on guitar. Software engineers Steffan Deidrichson and Steffan Gehring and product designer Manfred Knaupf were on hand to chat with folks after the show. They pulled this off in spite of having already spent 4 days at the AES show in NYC demoing Logic studio. These guys rock!

Unfortunately, videotaping was not allowed, so that bit of history will go undocumented. We are in a ogic 8 world, and I can see that this is only the beginning of a great new phase in Logic’s development. I was totally impressed by the team. More to come!

It was a great meeting, thanks Jonathan and Steve!

I was wondering if there is an official Apple side-by-side comparison chart that lists all the differences between Logic Pro and Logic Express? The products seem almost identical, but the checklist of features is too long to go through.

    Thanks,

There was a website introduced at the very beginning of the presentation, something like elogicstudio.com. I can’t see to find it anywhere. Can you help me?
    Thanks.
PS, it was a great and informative evening. The team of presenters was wonderful.

I beleive the URL was given incorrectly at the meeting. The URL appears to be: http://www.zoom-in.com/apple/music.

I’ll have one or two quick-tips up there next month I beleive ;)
